What would you do for a Klondike bar? There are a few things I would do, but not ANYTHING. Personally, it does depend on what species of Klondike it is, for instance, I would do much less for a Heath Klondike bar than I would for an Oreo Klondike. The Oreo Klondike species is probably what kept the Klondike family on grocery store shelves. The main problem I have with the brand as a whole, is they aren't very user friendly. You remove the wrapper, take the first bite, and what do you get?....cracked chocolate shell crumbling on your clothes. I don't want that. The taste is usually great, but I hate the mess. Sometimes the magic shell falls on the ground, leaving you with wasted product. That's my hard-earned money that I decided to blow on the wonderful taste of a life headed towards diabetes and obesity (='s diobesity or diobesites...choose your own adventure, either way, (WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!!!!) you die at the end).I should be able to ingest every ounce of what I spent my money on. Then, sometimes it ruins my clothes, causing me to have to spend MORE money on new clothes, or losing money on the raise I cant get because I'm walking around with a chocolate stained shirt, so no one takes me seriously. If congress was so worried about the economy of the country, they'd quit trying to bankrupt businesses by raising the minimum wage, and they'd try and figure out a way for Klondike bars to not crumble, leaving no part of the product wasted. This would allow us Americans to get the most out of our hard-earned dollars, keep our shirts clean, and improve our faith in capitalism. So, what would I do for a Klondike bar? At the moment, only buy one on impulse when I just so happen to be at the store/gas station. That's about it. Ask me again after the aforementioned conflict is resolved. What would YOU do?
Well today was long and stressful but good. It seems like noon was days and days ago. Days and Days from now, that will be true, but for now it was only 12 hours ago. I was happy that I got the chance to listen to the whole swearing in of the Vice President and President. I was able to hear the whole inaugural speach. I can not see how someone could not just swell up with great pride in this great country and feel much confidence in our leader after that speech. I love and support President Bush whole-heartedly. He stands for the beliefs, values and principles this nation was founded on. He is simple, but powerful all in the same breath. He is not afraid to speak his mind. It's about time we have someone like that in office. I would almost dare say that he embraces the essence of what Rock-N-Roll was founded on. That "Never Mind the Bollocks" Attitude. But he does it in a responsible manner. He knows what truth is. He knows what Freedom is. He knows who freedom is entitled to. He takes the (what the media and other "pop" culture icons try and make seem huge) odds and stares them right in the eye. Texas style! He stands for what He believes and He stands for what is right. Who would've thought that it would be risky to say "I believe in God" or "God bless America" or even "One Nation under God". The media usually praises people who do things an little....risque, but sadly, when it has to do with something wholesome, they have to try and rip it apart. It's sad that the mainstream sees, and trys to portray it as risky and "bad". But thankfully, the American people showed that a majority of this country want these values, these beliefs, this Freedom, and this man to continue to guide us today. The last time I blogged anything about President Bush it was on my brothers blog and his daily visitation dropped over 90%. Since my blog has averaged about 4 visitors a day for the last 2 weeks....I guess there will be a drop to about .4 visitors a day. But if so, It will stand as a testimony that whatever I have said, weather you agreed or disagreed when you saw it, had an effect. More than anything I just needed to rant. All I've done tonight is vented off stress to any of my friends.....it was funny. I jsut started talking to a friend on the phone and next thing you know, I had spent the prev. half hour venting about the whole day. hahaha. But anyways....I love this country!!!! I'm glad we have the President and leadership in the Whitehouse that we do. They truly are the best men for the job. That's all for now. God Bless America.
So it's Martin Luther King day. Good. I enjoy the extra time from work. I still have to go in, but with all the courthouses closed, I dont think I'll have a very long day. They'll probably let us go around 11. That would be nice. I've nothing against Dr. King. I think he had a great way of speaking his mind. It would be nice to still have the ole' Presidents day still around. I remember when we used to get out of school for that. I just think that some people really need to get their priorities in order. All colors and races aside, the Washington and Lincoln and other key figures in this nations history did a little more than Dr. King. But whatever. They were all great men who did great things. WHy am I talking about this......i needed an excuse to put this really cool picture up. Oh what a google image search and one funtion on photoshop can do. Bye.
